Good morning. Salt Lake City will have a high of 67° and a low of 38°. Sturdy. Stocky. Armored. A new species of dinosaur has been discovered in the Yunnan province of China, similar to specimens of armored dinosaurs that have been discovered in Utah and throughout the United States. | | If you're a resident of Utah, chances are high that you're dealing with pain in the housing market in addition to pain at the pump, especially in metropolitan areas. In a new RE/MAX national housing report, Salt Lake City was among five cities throughout the United States with the biggest year-over-year increases in median sales price. “With such high demand and low inventory, houses are flying off the shelves right now — even at prices that have reached new highs,” Nick Bailey, president and CEO of RE/MAX, said in a prepared statement. | Since Russia began its invasion of Ukraine three weeks ago, we have seen countries throughout the world impose sanctions on Russia in an effort to pressure President Vladimir Putin into withdrawing Russian troops. The situation is delicate, and even Switzerland broke its long-standing neutrality to join many other nations in sanctioning Russia. That being said, the United States recently received a plea from a Ukrainian energy coalition to cease all imports of Russian uranium. The U.S. gets 16% of its uranium from Russia to help fuel the country’s 94 reactors at 56 power plants located in 28 states, Amy Joi O'Donoghue writes. “It is crystal clear that Russia is using its nuclear company as one of the tools in the ongoing war,” the letter reads. “At this very moment it is important to impose tough sanctions against Russia, which will halt its ability to continue waging a brutal war in Ukraine and threaten international security.” Read more about the coalition's letter.
