The news today is focused on Stormont as the parties try to reach a consensus on what to do when the current Covid-19 restrictions expire at midnight .

DUP MP Sir Jeffrey Donaldson has predicted that the Executive will finally reach agreement saying ‘when the will is there, there is a way’.

Away from politics it has just been announced that Carl Frampton and Barry McGuigan have reached an agreement to settle marathon legal battle. The action ended after a 19 days of evidence on the breakdown of a once-close relationship between two Irish legends in the sport.
