ABMS Boards making changes to MOC

Maybe it is the tipping point for some physicians, already stressed out about the other regulatory requirements they must adhere to that chip away at clinical time. Maybe it's the multiple tasks that must be completed to participate in the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) recertification process, known as Maintenance of Certification (MOC). Or maybe it's a little bit of both. The ABMS MOC program has come under heavy criticism from physicians, frustrated by the increasing requirements and cost to comply with the program.
