Sarah Lock's Lamps The gallery is looking luxuriously homely right now, with exquisite hand carved furniture by Hope Springs Chairs, stylish linen cushions by Sarah Bidwell, studio ceramics to elevate the every day, and - just received - superb hand-crafted lamps from the central Brighton studio of Sarah Lock. Each lamp is unique, turned on Sarah's old Union Jubilee lathe using left over timber from furniture making - European Oak, Walnut and Cherry - all finished with the finest hand-painted lines in monochrome, minimal and tonal finishes. They are wired with decorative fabric covered flex and can be purchased with or without a shade. Simply beautiful. Come and see them for yourself. They are just part of our current exhibition WOOD! featuring furniture, wood cuts, hand-turned toy trees, chopping boards, jewellery and all sorts of beautiful wooden objects. Open this weekend and running until 10th November. |

This Morse Code Love Wrap (above) is a super snuggly and luxuriously wide scarf, woven using a double cloth technique giving two contrasting sides. Annabet Wyndham update We have had an exciting update of elegant pieces from the Brighton studio of jeweller and silversmith Annabet Wyndham. Made primarily of silver and vitreous enamel, and decorated in a satisfying array of citrus greens, aqua and steel blues, Annabet's jewellery is inspired by still life paintings, especially those of William Scott, making each piece a miniature work of art. Shop the selection online and come and see the new pieces in the gallery. |
