Former Alaska governor and vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin has advanced to the state’s general election in August to fill the House seat of the late Rep. Don Young, R-Alaska, NBC News projects. Republican Nick Begich, whose grandfather held the seat decades ago, and independent Al Gross, a surgeon, have also advanced in the special primary.
