Euractiv is proud to present its latest study into the evolving role of associations within the EU public affairs landscape.
To better understand the added value associations bring to the European project and to identify key trends shaping the market, Euractiv launched a dedicated initiative. Over a five-week period (from 6 May to 12 June 2025) we conducted a comprehensive survey gathering insights from a wide range of EU affairs professionals.
The survey explored critical themes, including:The decision-making structures behind EU affairs strategies,Mechanisms used to measure the success of representation in Brussels,Effective approaches for raising policy awareness,Key challenges that associations are likely to face over the next three years, based on trends in governance, membership, technology, and global dynamics.We are pleased to share findings from over 100 associations that participated in the survey. Their insights, alongside commentary from leaders of prominent Brussels-based associations, shed light on the evolving strategies and priorities shaping the future of EU public affairs.
