This event hopes to foster discussion around the principles of openness, including concepts like interoperability, consumer choice and open access, and how they contribute to a thriving European digital economy.

Our panel session will contextualise this notion of openness in practical terms, focusing on topics where policymaking can embrace open digital ecosystems. The conversation will also point to ideas of how openness can create a positive scenario for the European digital economy of 2029.
