The day is almost here: Nominees for the 26th Annual Webby Awards will be announced tomorrow, April 5th! This is our biggest and most competitive year in our history, with more than 14,000 entries from 70+ countries around the world.
This year, the Internet continues to give us so much: endless experiences, inspiration, entertainment, and new ways to connect and support one another. Now, it’s almost time to honor the best of what this year had to offer. Tomorrow, April 5th nominees are announced for the 26th Annual Webby Awards! We can’t wait to reveal the best digital projects this year, and the teams behind them. Tomorrow, voting will also start for the Webby People’s Voice Awards.

Due to the unprecedented interest, The Webby Awards have extended the deadline to participate in the 5G for Change Hackathon, presented by Verizon! The last chance for teams to apply is this Friday, April 8th. The brief for the hackathon is simple: what do you want to fix? And how can 5G and the Internet help you fix it? Finalists will pitch in front of expert judges at Verizon’s 5G Lab in New York City. The winner will be announced at The Webby Awards Show, and will receive a $50,000 prize money.
