Save the School Year—and Your Sanity

I don’t have kids of my own, but most of my friends are wading through the back-to-school stress. Whether it’s in-person, online, homeschooling, or a hybrid model, every parent I know feels the pressure of having to adapt to this new world.

When all of this started, I’d been working remotely for years, and suddenly I found myself teaching the older congregants of my church how to use Zoom and met with my pastor about how to talk to people through a camera (look at the lens, not the screen, people). I joked that this pandemic was my Super Bowl because of how I got to invest in my community in new ways.

Discipleship looks like walking with one another through uncharted territory, and sometimes, it’s very practical. This is why I’m excited about our new CT Live event called, “9 Tips to Keeping Your Sanity While E-Learning or Homeschooling.” We may not know exactly what to expect the next nine months, but Sally Clarkson has some serious wisdom because she’s been an education resource for decades. This is her Super Bowl.

So join us for this webinar, and if you don’t have school-aged kids, maybe share it with your friends who do. We’re going to survive this school year, and I have a feeling if we band together and listen to some wiser souls who have gone before us, we might just make it out with some sanity to spare.
