Using technology to treat depression and ârewireâ the brain

The noninvasive procedure uses magnetic fields, like an MRI, to stimulate the areas of the brain that are affected by mental illnesses like clinical depression. Kim talks to Dr. TeeJay Tripp and his patient, Candise Miller, about the impact TMS is having and how technology is changing healthcare and mental health care.

How stop motion animation began
One of our favorite movies of all time is âThe Nightmare Before Christmas.â This holiday classic is not only an amazing story, but the animation is breathtaking â especially when you take into account the entire thing is stop motion. That means it's filmed by moving small figures just a skosh and taking photo after photo to make the overall collection look like movement. This impressive art form has an intriguing history. Who knew it all began with bugs?

Itâs Friday night and you just finished a long week at work. You walk into your house, open up the fridge and grab a nice frosty cold one. You pop it open and take an appreciative sip. Well, some say if you like the bubbly drink then your belly will end up looking like the hump of a camel. The truth is there is much more going on when we see a âbeer belly.â

Kim's chosen VPN will help you shop and bank safely online
Big tech corporations are supposed to safely handle our personal online data, but now theyâre getting into the political game. I donât want to be any part of that and neither should you. Thatâs why I trust and use ExpressVPN. These big tech companies match your internet activity to your identity or location by using your public IP address. But with ExpressVPN, no one can see your IP address. No one.
