We have a confession. Even we didn’t realise quite how much there is to do at The O2 right now. Oh boy, is there a lot. Let’s start with the 19-screen Cineworld (biggest in London, fyi), the state-of-the-art 12-lane Hollywood Bowl, and trampolining heaven at Oxygen Freejumping which to be perfectly honest with you is about as fun as fun gets. It’s a lot of fun.
But that’s just the half of it. Need some new threads? Icon Outlet brings up to 70 percent off brands such as Nike, Levi’s and Calvin Klein. Into your social media? Hit the The Selfie Factory for all your Insta feed needs – plus the brand new and immersive Tikky Town for some serious TikTok inspo.
And then there’s the small matter of more than 30 restaurants and bars, too. Our recommendations? Five Guys for top-notch burgers, Busaba Eathai for some reliably great Thai food, Gaucho for steaks, and Thunderbird for some very solid fried chicken. And of course you’ll want to celebrate your savvy decision-making – you can do just that at the swanky Lanson Champagne Bar. Swish.
And of course, a real bonus here is that it’s all under cover. Well, you can’t trust these damn British summers, can you? But if the sun shines and you do fancy getting out in the open air, we can absolutely recommend Up at The O2 – a 90-minute guided climb over the whole beautiful building. It’s really pretty good. See? It’s all happening at The O2 this summer. . |
