Happy Super Bowl Sunday! Today's the big game! This year's Super Bowl is supposed to be the most watched game of all time. Since my team (the NY Giants) aren't in it and the 49ers and Chiefs are so evenly matched, I don't really care who wins. I usually root for the underdog but I just don't see how, given the way the Chiefs have been playing, they are 1.5 point underdogs.
🏈 My Two Trips to the Super Bowl I've been fortunate to go to the Super Bowl twice to see the Giants play. The first time was in Tampa vs the Ravens and they lost badly. The second was in Glendale, Arizona when they beat the Patriots in possibly the most exciting game of all time (especially, if you're a Giants fan). Both involved last-minute crazy travel stories and celebrities, which you can read more about here.

🍔 Tuesday How to Help Feed the Homeless When Traveling or at Home I just came from a routine doctor’s appointment and I got to talking with the medical assistant, who was from India. I told her about my two trips to the country and said that I prefer the countryside over the big cities. The main reason was the extreme inequality between the rich and poor in the large, metropolitan areas. I could have sworn I'd written about this years ago but I can't find it so I suppose I didn't. But this is what I do when I'm traveling and when I'm at home to help feed the homeless. |

Princess Cruises Just Announced a Late Summer Cruise With Iconic Original Cast Growing up in southern Connecticut, we didn’t travel much except to nearby Watch Hill, Rhode Island and Atlantic City, New Jersey. Back then, there was no internet, YouTube or Instagram to learn about exotic destinations, so I got my travel fix by watching ABC’s hit TV show The Love Boat. If you're a Love Boat fan too, then you won't want to miss this late summer cruise. |

🧵 TRAVEL THREAD OF THE DAY @AirlineFlyer: The logistics of flying #TaylorSwift across the planet to a football game is quite a production. I’m told @vistajet didn’t just have mechanics at HND in case anything broke, it had a whole second jet there on standby. Basically a private Air Force One. |
