Driving EV Adoption: Updates on the Zero Emission Vehicle Program

April 7: One of the key policies driving and shaping the U.S. electric vehicle industry is the Zero Emission Vehicle Program, or ZEV Program, which Oregon has adopted along with nine other US states. Established by California’s Air Resources Board (CARB) in 1990, this program requires greater numbers of low and zero-emission vehicles to be available to consumers in participating states. A review of the ZEV program will be held in 2016 and could produce changes with large implications for the electric vehicle industry. Learn more.
