There's an age gap among consumers exercising their rights as potential subjects of data gathering, with the young taking more interest than their elders, a study by Cisco has found. Overall, about two-thirds are wary about their data being used to train AI models.

The cost disparity between buying and renting a home has widened, with a CBRE analysis showing that the average monthly mortgage payment is 52% above the average apartment rent. Meanwhile, new apartment construction is affecting rent growth, and Fannie Mae predicts that the multifamily vacancy rate will reach 6.25% next year, higher than the 15-year average.
