United Community Bank acquiring Three Shores banks

United Community Banks Inc. and Three Shores Bancorporation Inc. have reached a definitive agreement for United Community Banks to acquire Three Shores, including its wholly-owned subsidiary, Seaside National Bank & Trust.

Boeing to resume S.C. 787 operations

Boeing plans to resume its S.C.-based 787 operations this weekend, more than three weeks after production was suspended because of the coronavirus. Most employees will return to work Sunday or Monday, though employees who are able to work from home will continue to do so.

DHEC distributes rapid-response COVID-19 testing devices

The rapid-response testing devices can provide results within 20 minutes. DHEC distributed 15 machines to facilities in areas with high numbers of COVID-19 cases, as well as regions with above-average rates of underlying conditions.
