Mashburn Construction completes Myrtle Beach office

The Columbia-based firm began renovating a historic building in downtown Myrtle Beach earlier this year. The 2,500-square-foot office at 807 N. Kings Highway will be the firm's fourth in S.C. Richard Kinard, vice president of Mashburn’s Coastal Division, will lead both the Myrtle Beach and Charleston offices.

Fraunhofer Alliance to host workshop at Upstate BMW

The S.C. Fraunhofer USA Alliance and S.C. Council on Competitiveness will be discussing new opportunities in innovation and risk mitigation in the international market at a workshop on Aug. 26 at the BMW Zentrum.

Cheraw to receive $824,112 water infrastructure grant

The Economic Development Administration funds will be used to help protect local businesses from floods and natural disasters. Improvements will be located near an Opportunity Zone and include $206,028 in local investment.
