Richland County reorganizing greenway program

The greenway initiative, part of the county’s Transportation Penny Program, is being reorganized to scale back costs and realign projects that lack public support, the county said. The changes will eliminate 8 projects. 

Charleston housing market projected among top 10 for next 3 to 5 years

Charleston is expected to be among the top 10 markets for the next three to five years, according to the National Association of Realtors, based on housing affordability, consistent job growth and domestic migration, among other factors. Charleston was the only market in the state to be named to the list.
