Mask supplier to invest $100M in Greenville plant

Fitesa, a Brazilian diaper and feminine product supplier, is expected to invest $100 million into its Simpsonville Plant, creating 40 jobs, according to an agreement passed by Greenville County Council Tuesday. The company plans to install an N95 fiber production line in January.

United Community Bank opening first Midlands branches

United, headquartered in Georgia with executive offices in Greenville, will open locations on Forest Drive and on Sunset Boulevard on Dec. 14. The bank established a Midlands presence in 2019.

Remote sellers' sales tax collection doubles in S.C.

Remote sellers and online marketplace facilitators collected $311.5 million in sales and use tax between Nov. 1, 2019 and Oct. 31, 2020, according to the S.C. Department of Revenue. Registered remote sellers also increased by 1,643.
