98 Ventures expands to Poe West with 150 new jobs

An executive management services company called 98 Ventures is making plans to expand operations in Greenville, creating 150 new jobs. To accommodate this expansion, 98 Ventures will relocate to the Poe West development in the Village of West Greenville in January.

BullStreet District getting another tech company

Truematter is moving its 13 employees and headquarters from West Columbia to the second floor of the Ensor Building in the BullStreet District. The company, which will join Capgemini in the district, specializes in user experience strategy and design.

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina adds MUSC dental

The Medical University of South Carolina’s James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine is being added to BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina’s dental network. The partnership will add approximately 30 general and specialty dentists to the network.

Genetic center partners with MUSC

The Greenwood Genetic Center and the Medical University of South Carolina have signed an affiliation agreement to provide patients across South Carolina with accessible, high-quality, coordinated and cost-effective genetic services through a collaborative approach to providing medical care.

Flying Saucer to close Columbia location

Texas-based Flying Saucer Draught Emporium announced it is closing its Columbia location on Tuesday. The craft beer bar had a 16-year run in the Vista.
