Cummins to move Memphis operation to North Charleston

Cummins Inc. said it will be closing its ReCon Memphis Plant in Tennessee and will consolidate its operations into its existing North Charleston facility in the third quarter. The move comes amid decreased demands for remanufactured turbochargers.

Citadel improves students' math scores, career readiness

As students across the state struggle to improve math scores, The Citadel and the Zucker Family School of Education are offering $2,000 stipends to help algebra teachers in rural high schools increase their students’ chances for success. The selected algebra teachers will participate in virtual professional development workshops and a webinar series. They’ll learn best practices and new ways to teach the course.
