Port receives $20M grant from DOT

The S.C. Ports Authority has received a $20 million grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation to help build a toe wall and deepen three berths at the Wando Welch Terminal. The toe wall construction and dredging work will cost $33 million, of which the port will contribute about $13 million.

Michelin North America announces price increase

Michelin North America Inc. has notified its dealers of an upcoming price increase, up to 7% in the United States and up to 5% in Canada for selected Michelin, BFGoodrich and Uniroyal brand products in the passenger and light truck tire categories.
