CARTA weighs ride-hailing partner pilot program

The Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority board unanimously approved pursuing a pilot program in downtown Charleston to partner with a ride-hailing company for rides to and from the Medical District for seniors and qualified Tel-A-Ride customers. CARTA is now preparing a request for proposals.
