During emergency meetings Monday, Mount Pleasant and Summerville approved their own laws requiring employees, customers and visitors to government buildings to wear masks to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

HTI stages drive-thru job fair to hire 400

HTI, a recruiting company based in Greenville, is getting creative to fill Upstate manufacturing jobs by hosting its first drive-thru job fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday in parking lot C at Greenville Technical College.

CAE offering free masks to travelers

Columbia Metropolitan Airport received more than 55,000 face coverings from the U.S. Department of Transportation. The masks are available at the main lobby information desk and in the TSA security checkpoint line.

Refresco expanding for second time this year

Refresco, an independent bottler for retailers and brand-name beverages in Europe and North America, will expand its Greenville County operations for the second time this year. The company said that it plans to create 40 new jobs this time.

Simpsonville community comes under NHE management

Property management firm NHE Inc. has added Simpsonville’s Riverstone community to its portfolio of residential developments. The 427-home community markets three- to seven-bedroom residences ranging from 2,300 to 4,200 square feet.
