Governor bans late-night alcohol sales

The sale of alcoholic beverages in S.C. bars and restaurants is banned after 11 p.m. Gov. Henry McMaster said the measure is aimed at young adults “who are rapidly contracting the virus."

Grant and local investment garner Greenlink buses by 2023

Greenlink plans to extend ridership hours and its electric bus fleet with six battery-electric Synterra vehicles purchased through a federal grant and $1 million in matched local funding. The delivery of the 35-foot buses is expected to coincide with the completion of Greenlink’s maintenance facility project.

International African American Museum reaches milestone

A steel beam with signatures of supporters and community leaders was lifted to the top of the structure Friday morning in a topping-out ceremony for the 41,760-square-foot museum set to open in 2022.

Nephron investing $215.8 million in expansion 

The expansion will add vaccine production and office space, along with a warehouse, to the pharmaceutical company’s Lexington County operations. It is expected to be completed early next year and to create 380 jobs.
