South Carolina imports $19 million in fireworks

South Carolina trails Missouri, Alabama, Kansas and Wyoming as the state with the largest pyrotechnic purchases per capita. States and territories with the lowest firework purchases include Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Georgia and North Carolina.

Extended unemployment benefits now available in S.C.
