S.C. Chamber of Commerce names Morgan new CEO

Bob Morgan led the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce from 2005-2018 and was most recently public affairs director at Charlotte law firm Robinson Bradshaw. He replaces Ted Pitts, who stepped down last October.

Construction complete on Summerville industrial building

Frampton Construction has finished its first of two heavy industrial buildings that will comprise the Portside Distribution Center. Located near Interstate 26, the Class-A facility was designed for logistics, automotive, manufacturing and other businesses. Developers expect to break ground on the second building this spring.

Coastal wetlands projects receive $5 million in grants
