Google expands in Moncks Corner with $500M investment

To-date, Google has invested $2.9 billion in its South Carolina operations. The company’s expansion of the Berkeley County data center is part of a nationwide growth plan for the company. In 2007, the company selected Mt. Holly Commerce Park for the data center in Moncks Corner.

Synnex to become Fortune 100 company through merger

Synnex Corp. and Tech Data, a Clearwater, Fla.-based Fortune 500 company, agreed to merge in a transaction valued at approximately $7.2 billion including net debt.
