U.S. Department of Education waives standardized testing

The U.S. Department of Education has approved a waiver request from the S.C. Department of Education to suspend spring testing.

Greenville validated to process COVID-19 tests

Greenville-based Premier Medical Laboratory Services has become the first commercial laboratory in the state validated to perform COVID-19 testing, the company announced. Premier will offer test results within 24-48 hours after receiving the sample and plans to boost its current testing capacity of 1,000 tests per day to 28,000 per week.
