DHEC to train EMTs to test patients for COVID-19

The S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control has developed a statewide training program to allow EMTs and paramedics to test patients for COVID-19. DHEC piloted the program in Richland County in April.

Central, Anderson and Rock Hill receive $800,000 from EPA

The cities of Anderson and Rock Hill and town of Central are set to receive U.S. Environmental Protection Agency grants totaling $749,338. Anderson plans to conduct environmental site assessments and develop cleanup plans for contaminated parts of the ABC Streets Community. Central will put its money toward the cleanup of three sites near downtown.
