Baker Motor Co. establishes dealership in Summerville

In December, the company will open a new $25 million, 28,600 square foot Mercedes-Benz facility in the Nexton community. The dealership, to be located at 425 Sigma Drive, will span more than 13 acres. The company said clients will be able to customize or up-fit their vans at the location.

RiverDogs no longer affiliated with Yankees

The New York franchise said on Saturday it is reconfiguring its minor league system and has ended its Charleston affiliation after 15 years. The RiverDogs have been affiliated with five different Major League franchise teams during the club's history.

Richland Library's Career Online High School graduates 14

The library began offering the program, open to Richland County residents age 21 and older, in 2018. Participants take an online self-assessment and complete a prerequisite course before beginning the program.
