Unemployment drops to 4.2% in October in S.C.

South Carolina’s unemployment rate dropped from 5.2% in September to 4.2% in October. The state’s unemployment estimates dropped by 24,787 from September to 100,333 in October, an increase of 44,089 from October 2019.
