GSP celebrates new record for passenger traffic

Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport officials have known for some time that it would be a record-setting year for passenger traffic, but they didn’t expect to break the record with nearly six weeks left in 2019. Passenger number 2,317,985 stepped off an American Airlines flight from Philadelphia on Thursday.

Assisted living facility opens in Northeast Columbia

Watercrest Columbia Assisted Living and Memory Care, a 107-unit, resort-style community, is located at 1951 Clemson Road. Made up of 75 assisted living and 32 memory care apartments, it includes a multisensory outdoor streetscape designed to facilitate memory care.

Countybank, Greenwood Capital fulfill pledge

In 2015, Countybank and Greenwood Capital pledged a five-year gift of $100,000 to the Greenwood Genetic Center Foundation in honor of the center’s employees. Countybank and Greenwood Capital representatives have delivered the final $20,000 installment of the gift.
