Irmo Lock Co. purchases 2nd location, changes name

The company has purchased a second Columbia-area location at 538 Knox Abbott Drive in Cayce that will display the new name, The Modern Locksmith. NAI Columbia's John Gregory facilitated the transaction. 

Lowcountry Northwoods Mall owner files Chapter 11

On Nov. 2, CBL & Associates Properties Inc., owner and manager of Northwoods Mall and 86 other shopping centers around the country, filed voluntary bankruptcy proceedings to deal with $1.5 billion in debt brought on by lack of customers and unpaid rent.
