SCDOT projects $78 million revenue reduction

The S.C. Department of Transportation forecasts a $54 million shortfall in gas tax revenue and a $24 million decrease in vehicle sales tax related to COVID-19 through July, with a potential total impact of $293 million.

More than $14.5M in infrastructure grants awarded

The S.C. Rural Infrastructure Authority selected 34 projects throughout the state to receive funds to improve water, sewer and stormwater systems. The organization awards grants twice a year through an application process.
