Protesters have been living in tents on the University of Toronto campus for over a week, with no intention of packing up until their demands—for the university to disclose its financial ties to Israel and divest from the bloodshed—are met. The encampment has ignited a clash with the school’s administration over the bounds of private property and the limits of free assembly. As the protest continues into its second week, we spent a day at King’s College Circle interviewing students, staff and community members about the stand-off.
