Rep. Adam Schiff denounced the "politicization" of government under former President Donald Trump and called for an internal investigation after The New York Times reported Thursday that the Justice Department targeted communications records of key Democratic lawmakers, their aides and family members to find the source of leaks of classified information. In an interview with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow, Schiff, who was targeted in the subpoenas, called them a "terrible abuse of power."
