Hello everyone,

It has been an emotional week as we paid our final respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. You can see a selection of picture galleries paying tribute to her here.

We then turned our eye back to Preston and looked at some of the quirky pub signs that welcome you to many boozers in the area - including some with Royal connections.

Then there was the weekly dive into years gone by for Preston, Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. As you can see there was a great variety of activities going on in the region.

And the last look back went to Fulwood and Cadley Primary School in the 90s and 00s. There are lots of cute images here of the many children who graced the corridors of this Preston school.

I'll be back next week with more enjoyable nostalgic pictures for you to enjoy. Until then... stay safe and have a good weekend.

Naomi
