Preparing for the salt: As salt water pushes its way up the Mississippi River, New Orleans area hospitals, school systems and other essential service providers are preparing for the day the city's water supply is affected. Hospitals are bringing in reverse osmosis filtration systems, schools are preparing to shut off water fountains and ordering pallets of bottled water. Some grocery chains are planning to bring in giant tanks of freshwater to use in the stores. So, how worried are they? Stephanie Riegel has the story. Curious about where your water comes from?
