Science in Play is turning four years old, and you are invited to the birthday party!
We are celebrating getting older by learning all about transportation and logistics. Join us for fun challenges with trucks, conveyor belts, and pulleys as we move things from here to way over there!
We'll also be introducing a special new addition from our friends at UPS.
In Science in Play, different activity zones challenge children to investigate, assess risks, use objects as tools, shop for shapes, textures, and colors, explore, build, climb, predict, and test - all through experimental and imaginative play. | | | | | Mountain Quest Now Playing! | | | A lone climber, suspended hundreds of feet in the air, struggles to find the next finger hold, defining progress in inches. The dramatic visuals immerse us in a gripping contest of human determination versus the reality of gravity’s potent grip. Mountain Quest explores the precarious relationship of humanity’s quest to scale some of the world’s highest places, while also revealing the scientific and technological advances that have enabled us to conquer these peaks, exposing the heartbeat of the human soul.
Educational insights about the engineering of climbing gear and skis and the aeronautical effects of a wingsuit are seamlessly integrated with dramatic visuals and action.

There are many summer camp options to choose from, including Lego® Design Challenge, Pokémon Science, Escape Room, Amusement Park Physics, Zombie Survival Guide, Virtual Reality, and much more. Summer camps are available for students in rising Pre-K (age 4) through 8th grade.
Summer Camp is offered weekly through August 9
Camp Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Drop-off: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Pick-up: 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.

The 2019 Louisville Youth Science Summit is an adventure throughout the region exploring STEM professionals in their labs. Programming is offered for Middle and High School students.
Students will participate in hands-on lab sessions at various programming sites throughout the Louisville area, led by regional university, industry, and research professionals.
The High School track also includes speed mentoring with regional STEM professionals to provide your child with advice on college choices, additional educational opportunities, and the lifestyles afforded by different STEM careers. | | | | | Drop-off 8:00 A.M. - 9:00 A.M.
