A jury trial began in federal court in Norfolk on Tuesday against Congressional candidate Shaun Brown, who was indicted late last year on felony fraud charges related to a summer program to serve lunches to the needy.
Two men have been sentenced in federal district court for the 2009 homicide of Louis Joseph Jr. in his Newport News home where he was babysitting a 5-year-old.
