Good humoured parody or dangerous stereotype?

Nicola Sturgeon's puppet has made its debut on the revamp of Spitting Image, but some aren't happy.

The sketch, which featured on the satirical puppet show, has divided viewers with its Scottish stereotyping - with one viewer writing "at least try to make it funny".

Relaxing restrictions for Christmas 'throwing fuel on Covid fire'

That's what a member of the UK Government's Scientific Group for Emergencies (SAGE) has said about the easing of rules over the festive period. 

It comes after the announcement yesterday Scots will be able to spend Christmas with two other households.

Scotland is first country to have free universal period products

Scotland has become the first country in the world to have free universal period products. 

MSPs unanimously voted for the bill yesterday which makes it a legal right to have free access to items such as sanitary towels and tampons.
