Good evening everyone,

It's nearly the weekend, although the glorious weather looks like it will be gone by the time Saturday and Sunday roll around, so hopefully you've been out enjoying the sun and heat today.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has again reminded us to follow the FACTS:

  • Face coverings in enclosed spaces
  • Avoid crowded places
  • Clean hands and surfaces regularly
  • Two metre distancing; and
  • Self-isolate and book a test if you have symptoms

Today's key updates...

  • There have been two more deaths from Covid-19 in Scotland since yesterday
  • For the second consecutive day, new positive cases have been in single figures
  • The 'R' number remains between 0.6 and 0.8
  • Care homes in Scotland free of the virus will be able to accept visitors from July 3
