Scot Government unlawfully claimed Alex Salmond report 'did not exist'

Scottish Government officials breached Freedom of Information legislation by attempting to claim the final report of harassment complaints against Alex Salmond did not exist, it can be revealed.

The finding follows a FOI request submitted by The Scotsman in September last year.

 

'Significant increase' in Covid cases in Scottish city

The NHS has issued a plea for help following a significant increase in the number of cases of coronavirus in one Scottish city.

It comes as the highly infectious variant first identified in India is now circulating in the area.

Health experts are calling for people to work together to drive the number of new cases down.
