Two feared dead as hospital reopens after three 'serious' incidents

A chilling attack took place last night.

A Kilmarnock hospital has reopened after three ‘serious’ incidents on Thursday night in which two people are feared to have died.

Police Scotland confirmed there were three potentially linked incidents in Kilmarnock on Thursday evening.

'Wasted doses' of Covid-19 vaccine labelled 'disgrace' by staff at mass vaccination centre

Staff at a mass vaccination centre have raised concerns over Covid-19 vaccine doses being “wasted” due to an instruction for vaccinators to throw away unused vaccine at the end of a shift, our health reporter Elsa Maishman can exclusively reveal. 

One worker told the Scotsman staff reacted “in uproar” after being ordered to throw out doses of the vaccine currently being administered to key elderly and vulnerable groups at the mass vaccination centre at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.

The letter to the Scotsman that cemented rugby's oldest rivalry

It was the historic match that kicked off rugby’s oldest and arguably greatest rivalry, sowing the seeds for scores of heart-stopping Scotland v England encounters to follow.

It is the letter that threw down the gauntlet to what would become the oldest fixture in international rugby – Scotland v England.
