SCOTUS Continues to Harm Black Households, Israel’s Fight Against COVID-19, and More

After intense congressional pressure, the Biden administration attempted in August to extend the nationwide moratorium on evictions. In a 6-3 ruling, the Supreme Court (SCOTUS) blocked the moratorium, allowing evictions to restart. “This decision exemplifies the long pattern of American jurisprudential interventions that ignore Black suffering,” Carl Romer and Kristen Broady write.
