Read it online | Dear John, Working from home? Stuck in front of a screen? Time to resurface some special content from the depths of the site … and the length of the band's career. 'Miami, 2005, on the Vertigo Tour, and early one morning Bono breaks into Edge's hotel room… while he's still fast asleep.' All three parts now playing here. As Edge says, 'I like to exercise once or twice... every four to eight weeks.' Last week the band lost a longtime friend and creative collaborator in the music producer Hal Willner. 'One of the greatest music men of all time,' recalled Edge. And last month, in case you missed it, Bono recorded a new song, Let Your Love Be Known - 'for the doctors, nurses, carers on the front line, it's you we're singing to.' 'I turned to the staircase, Adam was descending in a leopard print bathrobe and blue suede slippers.' Also last month our favourite bass player reached a milestone birthday. We asked a good friend to come up with 'Ten Reasons To Celebrate Adam Clayton'. Over on our U2.com subscribers site we hosted the premiere of 'U2 eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE – LIVE IN BERLIN', our 2020 subscription gift. It was pretty special to be part of such a huge online gathering of fans - all chatting in real time about a shared U2 experience. So this Sunday we're doing it again - this time going back to the 1990's for a special screening of Zoo TV: Live from Sydney. From Zoo Station and The Fly to Angel of Harlem and Love is Blindness... Interested in joining in? Take out a subscription to U2.com and start with 'U2 eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE – LIVE IN BERLIN', playing exclusively in HD, on demand for all 2020 subscribers. Best Wishes, The U2.com Team | |
