Hosting the Drive program for the past two years was an unexpected opportunity that turned into a great joy. 
 

What a privilege it has been to keep you company, from interrupting the Prime Minister to chat to Olympic star Nina Kennedy to speaking to some of the brightest minds around and of course sharing your stories. I have loved every minute. 
 

But Drive is all consuming and I have two young kids who are very excited to have me back at after school sport and I suspect helping cook dinner in the kitchen.
 

And I’m not going far, I’m thrilled to be back on-air hosting Afternoons in 2025.
 

My driving force has always been to try and help people understand the world a little better and give voice to those without one, which I will continue to do on Afternoons.
 

As well as having a heck of a lot of fun! There will be a little more of the thrilling Jo Trilling I dare say.
 

It also means I get to bask in the sunshine that is Sabrina Hahn.
 

I do hope you’ll turn the dial on a little earlier in the arvo, I so look forward to having a chat in 2025!
