Sean Payton will miss Sunday's game against Buccaneers

Well, it's Saturday.

If you've read this newsletter enough this season, you know this is the day we usually give you some bad news as far as who is out for this week's game.

This time it's Sean Payton, who tested positive for COVID on Friday and will miss Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Defensive coordinator Dennis Allen will take Payton's place. Luke Johnson tells you all about it here.

Columnist Jeff Duncan writes about what the Saints will miss with not having Payton on the sideline.

Ok, now to the players. Tackles Terron Armstead and Ryan Ramczyk will also be out for this game.

Now for some good news. Mark Ingram, who missed last week's game against the New York Jets because of a positive COVID test returned to practice Friday and will be good to go Sunday.
