In profile: Trevor Graham

Professor Trevor Graham joined us in March 2022 as the new Director of our Centre for Evolution and Cancer. His research uses evolutionary principles and computational modelling to reveal how cancer develops to improve diagnosis, treatment and prevention.

Dame Deborah James tribute

We paid tribute to the incredible contributions of Dame Deborah James at this year's graduation ceremony, where we posthumously awarded an honorary doctorate to the inspirational campaigner.

As Search went to print we received the news about the death of Her Majesty The Queen and we want to express our deep sadness. We are all hugely grateful for Her Majesty’s life of national service, and for her generous support for science and medical research.
