The five candidates to replace Murphy Paul as Baton Rouge Chief of Police will meet with Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome for interviews in the coming weeks before she makes her final decision.

School districts are looking for ways to make their campuses safer, including new tools driven by artificial intelligence.

The brother of Saints defensive end Carl Granderson — an up-and-coming rapper who went by the name ShootergangVJ, — was shot and killed 10 days ago in Texas.

In last week’s game against Chicago, Granderson was credited with five tackles, a tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry, just four days after his brother’s death.
